In 2016 the mammoth job of restoring Killeavy Castle and Estate commenced under the remit of Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure cumulating in the restoration works and the development of Killeavy Castle Estate that can now be enjoyed by visitors for generations to come. This restoration project could not have been achieved without the support, help and guidance of Invest NI, First Trust Bank, Newry Mourne and Down District Council and DEARA.

Construction was led by Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure under the direction of local Architects, Pat O’Hagan and Associates and conservation architect Chris McCollum. Local sub-contractors and tradesmen all worked on the project including Dowdall Contracts, ESL and JMG Mechanical to name a few.
